Bristol-Myers Escapes 24 Wrongful Death Suits Over Toxic Emissions Based Upon Running of the Statute of Limitiations

 

A New Jersey federal judge on Friday threw out two dozen wrongful death suits accusing Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. of emitting deadly toxic substances from one of its manufacturing plants, finding that the state's two-year statute of limitations allows the drug company to escape the claims.
