A Texas jury handed Boston Scientific a big message this week with a 72 million dollar verdict. Boston had won the first two cases that were tried to a jury. The verdict consisted of approximately $23 million in compensatory damages and $50 million in punitive damages. It is the largest verdict in any pelvic mesh trial to date.
This verdict came directly on the heals of a TVM verdict against Johnson and Johnson last week.
