Ford Motors has announced it will issue a recall of about 33,000 2013 C-Max hybrid vehicles due to a failure to meet federal safety standards. The company said that inspections by the NHTSA found the vehicles did not properly protect passengers' heads in a crash. Ford said it has not received any reports of injuries associated with the defect.
