Sprouters Northwest gives details about bacteria in its products

Food Safety News (2/7) reports, “Sprouters Northwest, the company that recalled all of its products last week, including its sprouted seeds, pea shoots and wheatgrass, after samples of the finished product tested positive for Listeria, has provided more details about the recalled items.” The company said the products were “distributed in Idaho, in addition to Alaska, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia, Canada, which were all listed in the previous recall.” The recall also names “Brassica as a brand name under which the product was sold, adding this brand to the two others – Sprouters Northwest and LifeForce – already named.”
