General Motors has issued a recall of 145,000 pickup trucks after it was discovered that the vehicle hoods can fly open unexpectedly while driving. The recall covers Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks, model years 2010 through 2012. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said some of the trucks may have not be fitted with a second hood latch, which would prevent hoods from opening.
